The vision here is to simplify the cantilever and boom components by eliminating the insulating pots and associated components required on existing overhead line structures, replacing these with a lightweight cantilever unit with intrinsic insulating properties.
The form of the masts is simple - slender in the transverse direction and tapering to their tips to reduce the visual impact.
