48 entries were received by the deadline and the Judging Panel met on 11 June to assess the designs. Interviews were subsequently held with a longlist of designers and following these a shortlist agreed by the Judging Panel.

Ten designs have now been identified and the teams selected in alphabetical order are:

The ten shortlisted designers will now receive up to £75,000 each to fund the next stage development of the their scheme (subject to contract).

These developed schemes will be judged early in 2015 and up to five finalists then selected for more in depth development with funding available of up to £750,000 per scheme.
