DESIGN IDEAS COMPETITION
This section features images from the schemes submitted to the first phase of the Tristan da Cunha Design Ideas Competition – Each applicant submitted 4xA3 sheets that communicated the philosophy and vision behind their ideas. Due to the wide ranging scope and nature of the competition and the limitations of space, it is not possible to re-present every page submitted by all the competitors in this summary. We therefore reproduce selected illustrations from each submission, more to illustrate the techniques adopted by entrants in their presentation, rather than the substantial scope and detail of the accompanying text. Long-listed and short-listed schemes are featured in separate sections.
