BIOGRAPHY

Javier Terrados and Fernando Suarez lead a partnership that practises at Seville (Spain) since 1995. They are both Architectural Design teachers at the School of Architecture of Seville. Javier was Graduate Student at Cornell University (New York). They have been visiting teachers in London, Panama City, Nancy, Madrid, Valencia, Granada, Málaga and Barcelona.

Their built architectural work has been awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Housing (National Public Housing Award 2005), by the Spanish Institute of Architects (National Award “Urban Solutions” 2003) and by several regional Institutes of Architects (Cordoba, Huelva, Cádiz, Jaén and Seville). They were also awarded with one of the three honorary mentions of the ‘Ugo Rivolta European Architecture Award’, given by the Institute of Architects of Milano (Italy). Recently they were awarded the Second Prize in the International Competition for the Spanish Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015.
